Job Opening Announcement: Assistant Health Director

Franklin County, KS, is now accepting applications for an Assistant Health Director. Bachelor's degree in Public Health and/or Leadership/Management and a minimum of 5 year's experience required.

The Assistant Director of Health (ADH) assumes the duties of the Director in the Director’s absence.  The ADH assists in supervision and oversight of general operations within the department and is a community ambassador.  Principle duties include conducting oversight of quality improvement projects, workforce development and performance management. Annual review of policies, protocols and government regulations is conducted in conjunction with other department staff. The ADH assists the Director with budget, strategic planning, orientation processes, and grant administration.  

Franklin County participates in the Kansas Public Employees Retirement System (KPERS & KP&F).

Base Rate:  $51,542 annually depending on qualifications
