About the Ambulance Department... Franklin County Emergency Medical Services is dedicated to providing optimal care and transport for the sick and injured in the pre-hospital setting. We are committed to serving citizens and visitors in Franklin County, Kansas, a population of 26,247 (574 square miles). We serve all cities located within Franklin County which includes: Centropolis, Lane, Ottawa, Pomona, Princeton, Rantoul, Richmond, Wellsville, and Williamsburg. We operate from two stations that respond from the city of Ottawa. Station #1 is located at 720 West Second Street and station #2 is located at 219 East Fourteenth Street.
