C. PUBLIC COMMENT: A citizen desiring to speak on an item not on the agenda may do so at this time. Discussion is limited to five minutes and the Commission will not take action at this time. Items introduced under “PUBLIC COMMENT” may become agenda items at a later date.
D. CONSENT AGENDA: Items listed on the “Consent Agenda” are considered routine and shall be enacted by one motion of the Board of Commissioners with no separate discussion. If separate discussion is desired by a member of the Governing Body, that item may be removed from the “Consent Agenda” and placed on the regular agenda “Items of Business.”
1. Approval of the minutes of the County Commission agenda of January 9, 2006.
E. ITEMS OF BUSINESS: Items of business includes all timed items, bids, contracts and agreements, public hearings and organizational business coming before the Governing Body.
1. Consider the request of Sheriff Davis to seek bids for three new Sheriff’s vehicles (January 25, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. is suggested)
2. Receive Health Department Director, Barbara Conus, to report on Health Department activities and service for 2005
3. Consider authorizing a review of the arrangement of County Commission Districts in accordance with K.S.A. 19-204
4. Consider selection of a County Counselor for the 2006 calendar year
