BOARD OF FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

  1. CALL TO ORDER and PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

  2. ROLL CALL

  3. PUBLIC COMMENT:  A citizen desiring to speak on an item not on the agenda may do so at this time.  Discussion is limited to five minutes and the Commission will not take action or discuss items at this time.  Items introduced under “Public Comment” may become agenda items at a later date.

  4. CONSENT AGENDA:  Items listed on the “Consent Agenda” are considered routine and shall be enacted by one motion of the Board of Commissioners with no separate discussion.  If separate discussion is desired by a member of the Governing Body, that item may be removed from the “Consent Agenda” and placed on the regular agenda “Items of Business.”

    1. Approval of the minutes of the County Commission meeting of November 29, 2006.
       

  5. ITEMS OF BUSINESS:  Items of business includes all timed items, bids, contracts and agreements, public hearings and organizational business coming before the Governing Body.

     

    1. That replat Application #0610-681, Quail Run, 2nd Plat Subdivision, to replat Lots #4 and 5, be approved.
       

    2. That Rezoning Application #0609-671 to rezone approximately 4.7 acres from an R-E, Residential Estate District, to a C-2, Highway Commercial District, located on the West side of Tennessee Road South of the East bound off-ramp for I-35, be approved.
       

    3. That Rezoning Application #0609-672 to rezone approximately 54.91 acres from an A-1, Agricultural District, to an A-2, Transitional Agricultural District, located on the South side of Stafford Road and on the West side of Ohio Road, be approved.
       

    4. Consider approving and signing a contract agreement between Franklin County and the Kansas Department of Health Environment (KDHE) authorizing KDHE to administer the clean up of 1609 Osborne Road.
       

    5. Consider rescinding the award of Bid 1 to Becker Tire and awarding Bid 1 to GCR TTC.
       

    6. Consider a Resolution restricting issuance of Building Permits on Minimum Maintenance Roads.
       

    7. Consider a Resolution restricting weapons on County premises.
       

    8. Consider a Resolution restricting weapons for employees.
       

    9. Consider the approval of payment request #9 for the Mental Health Clinic CDBG project.
