  3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

  4. INVOCATION: Led by Chaplain Matthew Benorden with Hospice Care of Kansas.

  5. PUBLIC COMMENT:  A citizen desiring to speak on an item not on the agenda may do so at this time.  Discussion is limited to five minutes and the Commission will not take action or discuss items at this time.  Items introduced under “Public Comment” may become agenda items at a later date.

  6. CONSENT AGENDA:  Items listed on the “Consent Agenda” are considered routine and shall be enacted by one motion of the Board of Commissioners with no separate discussion.  If separate discussion is desired by a member of the Governing Body, that item may be removed from the “Consent Agenda” and placed on the regular agenda “Items of Business.”

    1. Approval of the minutes of the County Commission meeting of May 16, 2007.

    2. Approval of claim vouchers and tax change orders.

  7. ITEMS OF BUSINESS:  Items of business includes all timed items, bids, contracts and agreements, public hearings and organizational business coming before the Governing Body.

    1. Consider the approval of a Proclamation establishing May 19th through May 24th as National Emergency Medical Services Week.

    2. Consider the approval of an agreement with UPS to locate a drop box outside of the Franklin County Annex.

    3. Consider the approval of Rezoning Application #0612-692 to rezone approximately 28.43 acres from an A-1, Agricultural District, to an A-2, Transitional Agricultural District, to an R-E, Residential Estate District, located on the North side of Allen Road between Delaware Road and Florida Road.

    4. Consider the approval of Rezoning Application #0703-723 to rezone approximately 10.00 acres from and A-1, Agricultural District, to an R-E, Residential Estate District, located on the North side of Hamilton Road between Arkansas Road and California Road.

    5. Consider the approval of Rezoning Application #0703-725 to rezone approximately 10.65 acres from an A-1, Agricultural District, to an R-E, Residential Estate District, located at the intersection of Stafford Road and Delaware Road on the South side of Stafford Road and the West side of Delaware Road.

    6. Consider the approval of a request to purchase a new copier for the Administration Department.

    7. Consider the approval of an agreement with Rocky Mountain Offender Management Systems, LLC to provide electronic monitoring for the County.

    8. Consider the approval of payment request #16 for the Elizabeth Layton Center CDBG Grant Project.

    9. Consider the approval of a request by Mr. Jerry Eversoll for a fence viewing at 203 Alabama Road, Williamsburg.
