  1. CALL TO ORDER

  3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

  4. INVOCATION: Led by Joel Fredrikson with the First Baptist Church.

  5. PUBLIC COMMENT:  A citizen desiring to speak on an item not on the agenda may do so at this time.  Discussion is limited to five minutes and the Commission will not take action or discuss items at this time.  Items introduced under “Public Comment” may become agenda items at a later date.

  6. CONSENT AGENDA:  Items listed on the “Consent Agenda” are considered routine and shall be enacted by one motion of the Board of Commissioners with no separate discussion.  If separate discussion is desired by a member of the Governing Body, that item may be removed from the “Consent Agenda” and placed on the regular agenda “Items of Business.”

    1. Approval of the minutes of the County Commission meeting of May 30, 2007.

    2. Approval of claim vouchers and tax change orders.

    3. Approval payroll for the month of April 21st through May 20th.

  7. ITEMS OF BUSINESS:  Items of business includes all timed items, bids, contracts and agreements, public hearings and organizational business coming before the Governing Body.

    1. Consider the approval of a recommendation from the Planning & Zoning Commission to name a portion of road "Indiana Drive", approximately 800 feet of road located West of Indiana Road and East of the West line of Section 30, Township 16 South, Range 19 East.

    2. Consider the approval of Special Use Permit Application #0704-739 for the operation of a dog kennel/breeding operation in an A-1, Agricultural District, located on the East side of Montana Road between Woodson Road and Stafford Terrace.

    3. Consider the approval of Rezoning Application #0703-724 to rezone approximately 3 acres from an R-E, Residential Estate District, to an A-1, Agricultural District, to an R-3A, Single Family Residential Three Acre District, to rezone approximately 2 acres from an R-E, Residential Estate District, to a C-2, Highway Commercial District, located on the South side of Stafford Road between Indiana Terrace and Iowa Road and approximately 400 feet East of the Townsite of Centropolis.

    4. Consider the approval of Rezoning Application #0704-738 to rezone approximately 2.00 acres from an A-1, Agricultural District, to an R-3A, Single Family Residential Three Acre District, located on the East side of Texas Road between Stafford Road and Shawnee Road.

    5. Consider the approval of a recommendation from the Planning & Zoning Commission to deny Rezoning Application #0704-740 to rezone approximately 5 acres from an R-E, Residential Estate District, to an I-1, Light Industrial District, located on the North side of Jackson Road and West of Indiana Road.

    6. Consider the approval of an agreement between Franklin County Solid Waste and the N.R. Hamm Quarry, Inc., to provide waste removal services for the County.

    7. Consider the approval of a request to close Montana Road from Sand Creek Road to Riley Road and Reno Road from US 59 to Montana Road from 9:00 a.m. to Noon on June 20, 2007 for the US 59 Ribbon Cutting.
