  1. CALL TO ORDER

  3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

  4. INVOCATION: Led by Chaplain Matthew Benorden with Hospice Care of Kansas.

  5. PUBLIC COMMENT:  A citizen desiring to speak on an item not on the agenda may do so at this time.  Discussion is limited to five minutes and the Commission will not take action or discuss items at this time.  Items introduced under “Public Comment” may become agenda items at a later date.

  6. CONSENT AGENDA:  Items listed on the “Consent Agenda” are considered routine and shall be enacted by one motion of the Board of Commissioners with no separate discussion.  If separate discussion is desired by a member of the Governing Body, that item may be removed from the “Consent Agenda” and placed on the regular agenda “Items of Business.”

    1. Approval of the minutes of the County Commission meeting of June 20, 2007.

    2. Approval of claim vouchers and tax change orders.

  7. ITEMS OF BUSINESS:  Items of business includes all timed items, bids, contracts and agreements, public hearings and organizational business coming before the Governing Body.

    1. Consider approving the recommendation from the Board of Aging Services to reappoint Glenn Stottlemire and Daryl Montague to the Board of Directors.

    2. Consider the approval of the Juvenile Justice Authority's Notification of Award and Grant Conditions and Certifications for the FFY2006 Juvenile Accountability Block Grant (JABG).

    3. Consider holding an interview with Mr. Jeff Richards to fill the vacant position on the Franklin County Planning Commission.

    4. Consider approving the recommendation from the County Naming/Numbering Committee to name frontage road, from Stafford Road to Shawnee Road, Eisenhower Drive and to name the existing alignment, of US 59 Highway from Woodson Road South to Shawnee Road, Eisenhower Terrace.

    5. Consider the approval of Final Plat Application #0704-745, Calvert's Corner Subdivision, located at the intersection of Shawnee Road and Texas Road on the North side of Shawnee Road and the West side of Texas Road.

    6. Consider the approval of a Resolution establishing Policies and Procedures to install and maintain entrance culverts.

    7. Consider the approval of a lease purchase agreement financing two 140H Caterpillar motor graders.

    8. Consider the approval of request to hold a public hearing on July 11th at 9:00a.m. to discuss opening a portion of Delaware Road North of Labette Road.

    9. Consider the approval of a request from Ottawa Family Physicians to hold a Garage Sale Saturday, July 28th in the Franklin County Annex Building parking lot.
