  5. CORRESPONDENCE & ORGANIZATIONAL BUSINESS

  6. PUBLIC COMMENT:  A citizen desiring to speak on an item not on the agenda may do so at this time.  Discussion is limited to five minutes and the Commission will not take action or discuss items at this time.  Items introduced under “Public Comment” may become agenda items at a later date.

  7. CONSENT AGENDA:  Items listed on the “Consent Agenda” are considered routine and shall be enacted by one motion of the Board of Commissioners with no separate discussion.  If separate discussion is desired by a member of the Governing Body, that item may be removed from the “Consent Agenda” and placed on the regular agenda “Items of Business.”

    1. Consider the approval of the minutes of the County Commission meeting of December 5th.

    2. Consider the approval of claim vouchers and tax change orders.

  8. ITEMS OF BUSINESS:  Items of business includes all timed items, bids, contracts and agreements, public hearings and organizational business coming before the Governing Body.

    1. Receive an update and annual report from Tom Weigand with Ottawa/Franklin County Economic Development.

    2. Consider the approval of the Juvenile Justice Authority's Applications for unexpended Prevention and Intervention Funds for FY2007.

    3. Consider the approval of Rezoning Application #0709-795 to rezone approximately 10.00 acres from A-1, Agricultural District, to an R-E, Residential Estate District, located on the East side of Alabama Road between Riley Road and Reno Road.

    4. Consider the approval of Rezoning Application #0709-799 to rezone approximately 10.00 acres from an A-1, Agricultural District, to an R-E, Residential Estate District, and to rezone the remaining 30.68 from an A-1, Agricultural District, to an A-2, Transitional Agricultural District, located at the intersection of Pawnee Road and Texas Road on the North side of Pawnee Road and the East side of Texas Road.

    5. Consider the approval of Rezoning Application #0709-800 to rezone approximately 5.85 acres from an A-1, Agricultural District, to an R-E, Residential Estate District, located on the East side of Georgia Road, South of Reno Road.

    6. Consider the approval of an agreement between the Franklin County Recycling Center and the Ottawa Social Rehabilitation Services (SRS) to provide work training assistance to individuals in need.

    7. Consider the approval of a request to set a Public Hearing for 9:00 a.m. on December 26, 2007 to consider the vacation of the Rock Creek Road right-of-way.

    8. Consider the approval of a two year contract between Franklin County and AT&T to provide Digital Loop Service.

    9. Consider the approval of a two year contract between Franklin County and AT&T to provide Internet Service.

    10. Review the 2007 Budget for necessary operating transfers and/or amendments.
