  6. PUBLIC COMMENT:  A citizen desiring to speak on an item not on the agenda may do so at this time.  Discussion is limited to five minutes and the Commission will not take action or discuss items at this time.  Items introduced under “Public Comment” may become agenda items at a later date.

  7. CONSENT AGENDA:  Items listed on the “Consent Agenda” are considered routine and shall be enacted by one motion of the Board of Commissioners with no separate discussion.  If separate discussion is desired by a member of the Governing Body, that item may be removed from the “Consent Agenda” and placed on the regular agenda “Items of Business.”

    1. Consider the approval of the minutes of the County Commission meeting of December 19, 2007.

    2. Consider the approval of claim vouchers and tax change orders.

  8. ITEMS OF BUSINESS:  Items of business includes all timed items, bids, contracts and agreements, public hearings and organizational business coming before the Governing Body.

    1. 8:30 - Public Hearing to discuss the approval of the 2007 Budget Amendments.

    2. Consider the approval and appointment of members to the Franklin County Convention and Visitors Bureau Advisory Board as recommended by the Franklin County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

    3. 9:30 - Public Hearing to discuss the vacation of the right-of-way on Rock Creek Road.

    4. Consider the approval of an amendment to the New World Systems Contract for the Sheriff's Office Records Management System.

    5. Consider the approval of a contract between Franklin County and the City of Pomona to provide law enforcement services in 2008.

    6. Consider the approval of an amendment to the Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response contract.

    7. Consider the approval of a request from the Franklin County Health Department to host an Open House on January 11, 2008 from 11:00 in the morning till 3:00 in the afternoon.

    8. Consider the approval of Rezoning Application #0710-804 to rezone approximately 5.00 acres from an A-1, Agricultural District, to an R-E, Residential Estate District, located on the North side of K-68 Highway between Florida Road and Georgia Road.

    9. Consider the approval of the EMS write-offs for the month of November in the amount of $16,099.39.

    10. Consider the approval of a request to adjust the Ambulance Department service fee schedule.

    11. Consider the approval of a request to renew the contract between Franklin County and Vision Service Plan (VSP) to provide vision insurance for 2008.

    12. Consider the approval of a request to renew the contract between Franklin County and Delta Dental to provide dental insurance for 2008.

    13. Consider the approval of a contact between Franklin County and Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) to provide health insurance for 2008.

    14. Consider authorizing the Chairman to execute the remaining, Schedules 2 & 3, of the Tax Credits for the Franklin County Courthouse.
