  6. PUBLIC COMMENT:  A citizen desiring to speak on an item not on the agenda may do so at this time.  Discussion is limited to five minutes and the Commission will not take action or discuss items at this time.  Items introduced under “Public Comment” may become agenda items at a later date.

  7. CONSENT AGENDA:  Items listed on the “Consent Agenda” are considered routine and shall be enacted by one motion of the Board of Commissioners with no separate discussion.  If separate discussion is desired by a member of the Governing Body, that item may be removed from the “Consent Agenda” and placed on the regular agenda “Items of Business.”

    1. Consider the approval of the minutes of the County Commission meeting of April 23, 2008.

    2. Consider the approval of claim vouchers and tax change orders.

  8. ITEMS OF BUSINESS:  Items of business includes all timed items, bids, contracts and agreements, public hearings and organizational business coming before the Governing Body.

    1. Consider the approval of a Proclamation declaring the week of April 27 through May 2 as National Volunteer Week.

    2. Receive and review the Quarterly Report for the Juvenile Detention Center.

    3. Consider the approval of the Juvenile Justice Authority's FY2009 State Block Grant Application for Graduated Sanctions programming.

    4. Consider the approval of a request to open bids for Public Works Project 2007-1 Missouri Road Bridge Replacement.

    5. Consider the approval of Rezoning Application #0802-824 to rezone approximately 5.47 acres from an A-1, Agricultural District, to an R-E, Residential Estate District located on the West side of California Road between Jackson Road and Rock Creek Road.

    6. Consider the approval of an expansion to the Franklin County War Memorial located on the Courthouse lawn.

    7. Consider the approval of a Resolution authorizing Foreclosure proceedings and the sale of Real Property for Delinquent Taxes.
