  3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

  4. INVOCATION:  Led by Reverend Leonard Cheasbro with the New Life in Christ Church.

  5. CORRESPONDENCE & ORGANIZATIONAL BUSINESS

  6. PUBLIC COMMENT:  A citizen desiring to speak on an item not on the agenda may do so at this time.  Discussion is limited to five minutes and the Commission will not take action or discuss items at this time.  Items introduced under “Public Comment” may become agenda items at a later date.

  7. CONSENT AGENDA:  Items listed on the “Consent Agenda” are considered routine and shall be enacted by one motion of the Board of Commissioners with no separate discussion.  If separate discussion is desired by a member of the Governing Body, that item may be removed from the “Consent Agenda” and placed on the regular agenda “Items of Business.”

    1. Consider the approval of the minutes of the County Commission meeting of May 28th and June 2nd & 3rd, 2008.

    2. Consider the approval of claim vouchers and tax change orders.

    3. Consider the approval of payroll for the period beginning April 21st and ending May 20th.

  8. ITEMS OF BUSINESS:  Items of business includes all timed items, bids, contracts and agreements, public hearings and organizational business coming before the Governing Body.

    1. 9:00 - Hold a public hearing to discuss the adoption of the 2008 Franklin County Sanitation Code.

    2. Consider the approval of a the 2008 Franklin County Environmental Sanitation Code.

    3. Consider the approval of Special Use Permit Application #0804-838, for Russ Pitts, located on the west side of Texas Road, south of Stafford Road.

    4. Consider the approval of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Franklin County Sheriff's Office and the City of Wellsville to pay a portion of the cost associated with the New World Systems software.

    5. Consider the approval of a request to replace the County firewall and perform a network and security assessment.

    6. Consider the approval a request to hold a Public Hearing at 9:00 a.m. on June 11, 2008 to discuss vacating five feet on either side of Tenth Street, between Centropolis Avenue and the north line of Block 52 and the alleys on Block 52 and 53, in the Township of Centropolis.

    7. Consider the approval of a Resolution upgrading a portion of Georgia Road from Douglas Road north 1/4 mile from minimum maintenance to full maintenance.

    8. Consider the approval of a request to finalize the documents financing a Model 12M Motor Grader for the Public Works Department.
