  6. PUBLIC COMMENT:  A citizen desiring to speak on an item not on the agenda may do so at this time.  Discussion is limited to five minutes and the Commission will not take action or discuss items at this time.  Items introduced under “Public Comment” may become agenda items at a later date.

  7. CONSENT AGENDA:  Items listed on the “Consent Agenda” are considered routine and shall be enacted by one motion of the Board of Commissioners with no separate discussion.  If separate discussion is desired by a member of the Governing Body, that item may be removed from the “Consent Agenda” and placed on the regular agenda “Items of Business.”

    1. Consider the approval of the minutes of the Franklin County Commission meetings of January 7th and January 12th, 2009.

    2. Consider the approval of claim vouchers and tax change orders.

    3. Consider the approval of a Cereal Malt Beverage License for Hickory Hollow Golf Course.

  8. ITEMS OF BUSINESS:  Items of business includes all timed items, bids, contracts and agreements, public hearings and organizational business coming before the Governing Body.

    1. Receive the 2008 Year End Report for the Franklin County Ambulance Service.

    2. Consider the approval of a renewal agreement between Franklin County and TFM Comm, Inc. for the maintenance of the county emergency communication system and towers.

    3. Review bids as submitted for the Franklin County Sheriff's Office vehicles and consider the approval of bids.

    4. Consider the approval of a recommendation to award a bid for posts and hardware for the Franklin County Public Works Department to J & A Traffic Products.

    7. Consider the approval of a request from the Public Works Department to declare a 1992 GMC 3500, a Lincoln Gas Portable Welder and a Sanborn Air Compressor as surplus property and allow for the disposal of said items.
