  1. PUBLIC COMMENT:  A citizen desiring to speak on an item not on the agenda may do so at this time.  Discussion is limited to three minutes and the Commission will not take action or discuss items at this time.  Items introduced under “Public Comment” may become agenda items at a later date.

  2. CONSENT AGENDA:  Items listed on the “Consent Agenda” are considered routine and shall be enacted by one motion of the Board of Commissioners with no separate discussion.  If separate discussion is desired by a member of the Governing Body, that item may be removed from the “Consent Agenda” and placed on the regular agenda “Items of Business.”

    1. Consider the approval of the minutes of the Franklin County Commission meetings of May 27, June 1 and 2, 2009.

    2. Consider the approval of claim vouchers and tax change orders.

    3. Consider the approval of a recommendation from the Neighborhood Revitalization Program Review Committee to except the following Neighborhood Revitalization applications:

  3. ITEMS OF BUSINESS:  Items of business includes all timed items, bids, contracts and agreements, public hearings and organizational business coming before the Governing Body.

    1. Consider the approval of the Juvenile Justice Authority's grant conditions for the Graduated Sanctions, Prevention, and Incentive Block Grants for FY2010.

    2. Consider the approval of contracts between Franklin County and Midwest Connections, Inc. to place equipment on the Franklin County communication towers for high speed internet.

    3. Consider the approval of a Resolution returning a portion of Missouri Road, between Stafford Road and Stafford Terrace, to full maintenance.

    4. Consider the approval of a recommendation to accept a proposal from Killough Construction, Inc. for the placement of a 1" leveling course on a portion of Marshall Road, from I-35 to Nevada Terrace, in the amount of $59,400.

    5. Consider the approval of a request to set a Public Hearing for June 24, 2009 to discuss the Franklin County 5-Year Plan as required by the Kansas Department of Transportation.

    6. Consider the approval of Rezoning Application #0904-922 to rezone approximately 5.00 from an A-1, Agricultural District, to an R-E, Residential Estate District, located between Nebraska Road and Nevada Road on the north side of Clark Road.
