  6. PUBLIC COMMENT:  A citizen desiring to speak on an item not on the agenda may do so at this time.  Discussion is limited to five minutes and the Commission will not take action or discuss items at this time.  Items introduced under “Public Comment” may become agenda items at a later date.

  7. CONSENT AGENDA:  Items listed on the “Consent Agenda” are considered routine and shall be enacted by one motion of the Board of Commissioners with no separate discussion.  If separate discussion is desired by a member of the Governing Body, that item may be removed from the “Consent Agenda” and placed on the regular agenda “Items of Business.”

    1. Consider the approval of the minutes of the Franklin County Commission meeting of May 3, 2010.

    2. Consider the approval of claim vouchers and tax change orders.

  8. ITEMS OF BUSINESS:  Items of business includes all timed items, bids, contracts and agreements, public hearings and organizational business coming before the Governing Body.

    1. Open and review bids as submitted for vehicles for the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.

    2. Consider the approval of a Contact between Franklin County and the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) to accept funding as part of the preparing for the accreditation project for the Franklin County Health Department.

    3. Consider the approval of a recommendation to authorize the Chairman and County Clerk to execute the necessary documents for the two Model 12M Motor Graders financing with Landmark National Bank of Topeka, Kansas.

    4. Consider the approval of Rezoning Application #1003-995 to rezone approximately 10.00 acres from A-1, Agricultural District, to an R-E, Residential Estate District, located at the intersection of Georgia Road and Jackson Road and the east side of Georgia Road and on the north side of Jackson Road.
