BOARD OF FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
The Board of Commissioners met in a special session to canvass the August 3 Primary Election with Vice Chairman Donald R. Stottlemire and Commissioners Fred E. Ferguson and Donald C. Hay present. Serving on the canvass board replacing Chairman John E. Taylor was Sue McCay, Register of Deeds and replacing Donald E. Waymire was Ethel Wallace, Juvenile Detention Director. County Clerk/Election Officer Shari Perry, Deputy County Clerk Malea Lutz and Clerk Nicole Roecker were present to conduct the canvass.
The special meeting to canvass the August 3 Primary Election was called to order by Vice Chairman Stottlemire at 8:30.
1st Precinct had no provisionals.
2nd Precinct had 5 provisional and 2 were counted.
3rd Precinct had 11 provisional and 8 were counted.
4th Precinct had 1 provisional and 1 was counted.
5th Precinct had 8 provisional and 7 were counted.
6th Precinct had 13 provisional and 10 were counted.
7th Precinct had 15 provisional and 14 were counted, the other provisional envelope was empty and the ballot was already counted on election night.
8th Precinct had 16 provisional and 8 were counted.
Appanoose Township had 6 provisional and 5 were counted.
N. Centropolis Township had 1 provisional and 1 was counted.
S. Centropolis Township had 12 provisional and 8 were counted.
Cutler Township had 12 provisional and 10 were counted.
Franklin Township had 3 provisional and 3 were counted.
Greenwood Township 6 provisional and 4 were counted.
Harrison Township had 15 provisional and 15 were counted.
Hayes Township had no provisional.
Homewood Township had 3 provisional and 3 were counted.
Lincoln Township had 12 provisional and 6 were counted.
Ohio Township had 23 provisional and 22 were counted.
Ottawa Township had 4 provisional and none were counted.
Peoria Township had 1 provisional and 1 was counted.
Pomona Township had 9 provisional and 8 were counted.
Pottawatomie Township had 9 provisional and 5 were counted.
Richmond Township had 18 provisional and 17 were counted.
Williamsburg Township had 3 provisional and 2 were counted.
Advance had 15 provisional and 7 were counted.
Commissioner Ferguson left at 12:10.
Canvass Board reviewed all of the write-in votes.
With no further discussion the canvass was adjourned at 1:12.
