BOARD OF FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

 

The Board of Commissioners met in a special session to canvass the November 2 General Election with Chairman Taylor and Commissioners Donald C. Hay, Donald R. Stottlemire and Donald E. Waymire present.  Serving on the canvass board replacing Commissioner Fred E. Ferguson was Debbie Hahner.  County Clerk/Election Officer Shari Perry and Clerk Nicole Roecker were present to conduct the canvass.    

 

The special meeting to canvass the November 2 General Election was called to order by Chairman Taylor at 8:30.

 

1st Precinct had 14 provisional and 8 were counted.

2nd Precinct had 16 provisional and 10 were counted.

3rd Precinct had 14 provisional and 12 were counted.

4th Precinct had 13 provisional and 7 was counted.

5th Precinct had 14 provisional and 5 were counted.

6th Precinct had 11 provisional and 9 were counted.

7th Precinct had 21 provisional and 16 were counted.

8th Precinct had 19 provisional and 12 were counted.

Appanoose Township had 1 provisional and 1 was counted.

N. Centropolis Township had 3 provisional and 1 was counted.

S. Centropolis Township had 3 provisional and 2 were counted.

Cutler Township had 6 provisional and 3 were counted.

Franklin Township had 14 provisional and 5 were counted.

Greenwood Township 7 provisional and 7 were counted.

Harrison Township had 2 provisional and 1 were counted.

Hayes Township had 9 provisional and 7 were counted.

Homewood Township had 3 provisional and 3 were counted.

Lincoln Township had 4 provisional and 4 were counted.

Ohio Township had 13 provisional and 9 were counted.

Ottawa Township had 3 provisional and 2 were counted.

Peoria Township had 9 provisional and 5 was counted.

Pomona Township had 7 provisional and 6 were counted.

Pottawatomie Township had 4 provisional and 1 was counted.

Richmond Township had 6 provisional and 4 were counted.

Williamsburg Township had 12 provisional and 9 were counted.

Advance had 45 provisional and 16 were counted.

 

Board allowed 159 provisional ballots out of 273 provisional ballots cast.

 

Canvass Board reviewed all of the write-in votes.

 

With no further discussion the canvass was adjourned at 2:30.
