BOARD OF FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

 

The Board of Commissioners met in a regular session with Chairman John E. Taylor and Commissioners Fred E. Ferguson, Donald C. Hay, Donald R. Stottlemire and Donald E. Waymire present.  

 

The meeting was called to order by Chairman Taylor at 8:30.

 

Jason Parks discussed USD 287 and internet service.  They were paying us about $450 per month and they switched to Sprint.  Jason also discussed the internet service that we provide to USD 290. 

 

Commissioner Hay moved and Commissioner Stottlemire seconded to approve the minutes for November 8, 2004.  All voted “yes.”

 

Commissioner Waymire moved and Commissioner Hay seconded to approve the following transfers:

Dust Control Fund to Road & Bridge                    $4,487.86

Road Improvement Fund to Road & Bridge           $23,464.20

Road Improvement Fund to Road & Bridge           $35,196.30

All voted “yes.”

 

Blaine Finch discussed the railroad crossing on US 59 Highway.

 

Board discussed 2004 budgets and available cash.

 

Board discussed Annex tenants and leases.

 

Board toured the Courthouse for an office for the County Administrator.

 

Board discussed job description for the County Administrator.

 

Commissioner Waymire moved and Commissioner Hay seconded to go into an executive session for 15 minutes at 11:00 for attorney client privileges for pending litigation with Board and Blaine Finch present.  All voted “yes.”  Chairman Taylor opened the meeting at 11:15 and reported no action taken, no decisions made.

 

Doug George discussed Ambulance Department October reports.

 

Commissioner Ferguson moved and Commissioner Stottlemire seconded to approve the write-offs for the Ambulance Department for the month of October in the amount of $22,206.32.  All voted “yes.”

 

Chairman Taylor moved the meeting at 11:42 to the basement of the Jail for the monthly department head luncheon.  Attending the luncheon was: Don Stottlemire, Don Waymire, Fred Ferguson, Ed Taylor, Don Hay, Steve Brown, Alan Radcliffe, Craig Davis, Dale Watts, Shari Perry, Darrell Wadkins, Bob Thompson, Jim Haag, Larry Walrod, Debbie Hough, Blaine Finch, Sue McCay, Barbara Conus, Randy Dick, Kristie Stinebaugh, Cleon Rickel, Jason Parks, Julie Roehl and Ethel Wallace.

 

With no further discussion the meeting was adjourned at 12:55.
