BOARD OF FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
Chairman Donald R. Stottlemire called the meeting to order at 8:30 and asked all in attendance to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Roll Call: Chairman Donald R. Stottlemire present, Commissioner John E. Taylor present, Commissioner Donald C. Hay present, Commissioner Roy C. Dunn present and Commissioner Donald E. Waymire present.
Commissioner Hay moved and Commissioner Dunn seconded to approve the minutes as amended for August 1, 2005. All voted “yes.”
Representative Bill Otto discussed updates of legislative session and the impact on the county.
Commissioner Taylor moved and Commissioner Dunn seconded to adopt the agenda adding 10.1 Neighborhood Revitalization properties and approve the budget hearing for 2006 budget. All voted “yes”.
Commissioner Taylor moved and Commissioner Waymire seconded to approve the consent agenda item 8.1 approve low bid from Berry Material Handling to repair the forklift at the recycling center at a cost of $2,765. All voted “yes”.
Commissioner Waymire moved and Commissioner Dunn seconded to approve four properties located at 339 S. Cherry, 420 S. Walnut, 831 Pecan and 835 Pecan all in City of Ottawa for the Neighborhood Revitalization Plan. All voted “yes”.
Commissioner Taylor moved and Commissioner Waymire seconded to approve the publication of the 2006 budget and hold public hearing on August 17, 2005 at 7:30 pm at the Franklin County Courthouse to answer objections of taxpayers relating to the proposed use of all funds and the amount of ad valorem tax. All voted “yes”.
With no further discussion meeting was adjourned at 9:40.
