BOARD OF FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

 

Acting Chairman Roy C. Dunn called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. and asked all in attendance to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance.

 

Roll Call: Chairman Donald R. Stottlemire absent, Commissioner John E. Taylor present, Commissioner Donald C. Hay present, Acting Chairman Roy C. Dunn present and Commissioner Donald E. Waymire absent.

 

Jim Foster 4244 E. 141st St. Carbondale discussed his 18 year history with rail trail/railroad right of way.

 

Wendell Barker 2573 Hwy. 59 discussed people standing in the hall.

 

Commissioner Taylor moved and Commissioner Hay seconded to approve the consent agenda as follows: minutes for December 19, 2005 and tax change orders 2005-62 through 2005-65.  All voted “yes.”

 

Barbara Conus discussed an agreement between Franklin County Health Department and Office of Emergency Management for services related to Bioterrorism funding.

 

Commissioner Taylor moved and Commissioner Hay seconded to approve an agreement for services related to Bioterrorism funding between Franklin County Health Department and Office of Emergency Management.  All voted “yes.”

 

Leslie Belt 33888 Pleasant Valley Rd. discussed issues of concerned landowners regarding rails-to-trails.

 

With no further discussion the meeting was closed at 7:42.
