BOARD OF FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

Chairman John E. Taylor called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. and asked all in attendance to join him in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Roll Call: Chairman John E. Taylor present, Commissioner Donald C. Hay present, Commissioner Donald R. Stottlemire present, Commissioner Roy C. Dunn present and Commissioner Donald E. Waymire present.

Della Sandgren 2408 Brushcreek Dr. Lawrence discussed appraisals in Franklin County.

Commissioner Hay moved and Commissioner Dunn seconded to approve the consent agenda as follows: minutes for December 27, 2006, claim vouchers in the amount of $194,030.36, tax change orders 2006-106 through 2006-111 and 2006-128 through 2006-133 and emergency vehicle permits for Craig & Tammy Davis, Jeffrey Herrman, Francis Dalsing, Richard Sawin, Robert Stegner and Mark d’Augereau.  All voted “yes.”

Alan Radcliffe discussed Emergency Management Planning Grant (EMPG) and agreement.

Commissioner Hay moved and Commissioner Waymire seconded to approve the Kansas Emergency Management 2007 Cooperative Agreement Program Submission.  All voted “yes.”

With no further discussion the meeting was adjourned at 8:50.
