BOARD OF FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

Chairman Roy C Dunn called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.

Chairman Dunn asked all in attendance to join in the Pledge of Allegiance.

Invocation was by Robert Louden.

Roll Call: Chairman Roy C Dunn present, Commissioner Donald R. Stottlemire present, Commissioner Donald C. Hay present, Commissioner John E. Taylor present and Commissioner Karen S. Farrell present.

Della Sandgren 2408 Brushcreek Dr. discussed fair property taxes, valuations and spending.

Norman Wooge 3790 Pawnee Rd., Ottawa discussed valuation increases, tax increases and the need to use technology.

Commissioner Hay moved and Commissioner Stottlemire seconded to approve the consent agenda as follows: minutes for January 31, 2007 and tax change orders 2006-183 through 2006-185, 2006-187 through 2006-190, 2006-193 and 2006-194.  Chairman Dunn and Commissioners Farrell, Hay and Stottlemire voted “yes.”  Commissioner Taylor voted “yes” except for the minutes of January 31 and he abstained.

Rick Porter with Lake Region RC&D discussed the annual report and an update of events.

Larry Walrod discussed two Grant of Easements for boundary line adjustment #0612-698a and #0612-698b for Stanley Schaake to open Shawnee Rd.

Commissioner Hay moved and Commissioner Taylor seconded to accept two grants of easement from Stanley Schaake in Section 35, Township 15, Range 19.  All voted “yes.”

With no further discussion the meeting was adjourned at 9:18.
