BOARD OF FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

Chair Karen S Farrell called the study session to order at 8:30 a.m.  Commissioner Taylor absent.

Wynndee Lee, Planning & Zoning Director for the City of Ottawa discussed annexation request located between the City southern limits, east of Highway 59, south of Kingman to the west property lines of the parcels generally falling in the Rock Creek Areas approximately 153 acres and discussed purpose and rationale for Plan for Extension of Service.

Jim Haag discussed Bridge Inspection Program changes and results of the recent six inspections of the fracture critical bridges.

Jim Haag discussed selecting a firm to provide Construction Observation for Project No. 30 C-4149-01 Vermont Rd Bridge Replacement.  Five firms were contracted and three firms responded.  Cook, Flatt & Strobel is currently doing the design for the project.  Board had a consensus to place on the agenda for B.G. Consultants to provide Construction Observation.

With no further discussion the study session was adjourned at 9:07.
