BOARD OF FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

Chair Karen S Farrell called the study session to order at 8:30 a.m.  All present.

Lisa Johnson and Deb Barker discussed utilities in a storage facility behind the former Crestview owned by the Historical Society and billing the Historical Society 20 percent of the utilities.  Board agreed it needs to be reviewed in a year.

Lisa Johnson and Tom Weigand discussed Franklin County’s Strategic Plan designation expires on February 28, 2009.  The plan has to be updated every 3 years, a county wide survey will be done and meetings will be held.  The goal is to provide an overview of the goals for Franklin County in regards to county wide issues and to develop objectives and strategies in the form of an action plan to address these issues.

Lisa Johnson discussed landscaping around Courthouse.  Board agreed to add to Wednesday meeting agenda.

With no further discussion the study session was adjourned at 9:07.
