BOARD OF FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
Chair Karen S Farrell called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m.
Roll Call: Chair Karen S Farrell present, Commissioner Donald R. Stottlemire present, Commissioner Donald C. Hay present, Commissioner John E Taylor present and Commissioner Roy C Dunn present.
Chair Karen S Farrell asked all in attendance to join her in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Moment of Silence.
No public comment.
Commissioner Hay moved and Commissioner Taylor seconded to approve the consent agenda as follows: minutes for December 17th. All voted “yes”.
Jim Haag discussed a stop sign being installed for eastbound Howard Lane at Vermont Rd.
Commissioner Taylor moved and Commissioner Dunn seconded to approve Resolution No. 08-056 directing that a stop sign for eastbound traffic on Howard Lane be installed at the intersection of Vermont Rd and Howard Lane. All voted “yes”.
Larry Walrod discussed Grant of Easement for boundary line adjustment #0810-884 for John & Marlene Jo Esposito.
Commissioner Taylor moved and Commissioner Stottlemire seconded to accept a Grant of Easement from John A & Marlene Jo Esposito in Section 30, Township 15, Range 19. All voted “yes”.
Jim Haag discussed the purchasing of salt.
Commissioner Taylor moved and Commissioner Hay seconded to allow Jim Haag to purchase salt as needed and waive the purchasing policy. All voted “yes”.
Board recessed at 8:43. Back in session at 8:57.
Nick Robbins discussed November EMS report including activity, number of runs, total services billed, total collected and write-offs.
Commissioner Hay moved and Commissioner Taylor seconded to approve the write-offs for the month of November for the Ambulance Department in the amount of $10,425.09 and to send $7,855.32 to the State set-off program. All voted “yes”.
Commissioner Taylor moved and Commissioner Dunn seconded to adjourn at 9:03 am. All voted “yes”.
