BOARD OF FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

Chair John E Taylor called the study session to order at 8:30 a.m.  All present.

Deb Barker gave an update on the Management Plan for the Freedom’s Frontier National Heritage Area and asked Board for letter of support.

Elizabeth Maxwell gave annual report of the East Central Kansas Area Agency on Aging.  Board agreed to send letter to legislature.

Mike Fox discussed potential funds for the Midland Railroad from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 for Transportation Enhancement projects through the Kansas Department of Transportation.

Midge Ransom discussed annual report and financial statements for the Franklin County Health Department.

Richard Jackson discussed ECKAN annual report and stimulus money.

Dustin Coureton discussed the replacement of the AS/400.

Lisa Johnson discussed modifying resolution on finger print processing fee from $35 to $45.

Lisa Johnson discussed re-financing options for the Franklin County Annex.

Lisa Johnson discussed 2009 budget reduction recommendations.
