BOARD OF FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

Chair Ed Taylor called the study session to order at 8:30 a.m.  All present.

Dean Katt, Superintendent with USD 290 gave update on school district including personnel, statistics, economic impact, assessed valuation, bond and indebtedness, mill rates, expenses, cash balances, budget, enrollment history, graduation rates, facilities, district initiatives and 21^st Century skills.

Gene Hirt 125 South St Williamsburg discussed attending school districts board meetings and safety at schools.

Nick Robbins discussed relocation of staffed ambulance to North Ottawa Fire Station.

Gene Hirt 125 South St Williamsburg thanked Nick Robbins and staff for his valuable service and discussed cost of ambulance pull ups at Wellsville.

Lisa Johnson discussed renewal agreement with Rocky Mountain Offender Management System to provide electronic monitoring surveillance.

Jim Haag discussed proposed 2009 work items – structures, ditching, fills, erosion control, pavement failure and shoulder work.

Gene Hirt 125 South St Williamsburg discussed marking of hard surface roads and bridges.

Lisa Johnson discussed Government Week May 3^rd through May 9^th.

With no further discussion the study session was adjourned at 9:50.
