BOARD OF FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

Vice Chair Donald R Stottlemire called the study session to order at 8:30 a.m.  Chair Taylor absent.

Rick Sawin discussed 2010 Noxious Weed Annual Control Plan.

Rick Sawin discussed 2010 Lake Region Solid Waste dues in the amount of $5,200 which is the same as 2009.

Larry Sharp with KCAMP Insurance discussed member area, loss ratio, risk, law enforcement and road department.

Jim Haag discussed audit done by KDOT on the grading & surfacing project located 2 miles south and 5.6 miles east of Ottawa on Rock Creek Rd.  Audit determined the county owes $28,939.98.

Lisa Johnson discussed conducting the public hearing for the 2010 county budget for August 6^th at 7:00 p.m.

Brad Heathman 1414 S Mulberry discussed commissioners working for one dollar per year, removing cola increases from the budget and needing freedom back reduce regulations.

With no further discussion the study session was adjourned at 9:25.
