BOARD OF FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

 

Chair John E Taylor called the study session to order at 8:30 a.m. Commissioner David J Hood was absent.  All other Commissioners were present.

 

Philip Dudley discussed the configuration and specifications of the computers in the County Appraiser’s Office, the mouse sketch program in the ORION appraisal system does not function correctly.  To remedy this situation, KDOR has offered to provide to the County at no charge, four computers for the Appraiser’s Office.  Philip recommends that the County Commission accept these four new Dell computers at no cost to the county.

 

Jim Haag discussed the progress on the Proposed 2009 Work Items and the status of Work Orders.

 

Jim Haag discussed the purchase of right-of-way for the Montana Road Project between Sand Creek Road and new US-59.  Negotiations have resulted in an agreement with James C Dunn (.01 ac., $50.00) and Kenneth and Almeda S. Edwards (Tract 1, 1.3 ac., $4,720, temp. esmt.), (Tract 2, 1.06 ac., $4,440, temp. esmt.).

 

Jim Haag discussed Supplemental No. 1 to Agreement No. 101-09 for the John Brown Overlay Project.  The Kansas Department of Transportation desires to supplemental the Original Agreement to incorporate the revised project special provisions 03-10-09-R7 Required Contract Provisions ARRA Act of 2009, Reporting Requirements.

 

With no further discussion the study session was adjourned at 9:15 a.m.
