BOARD OF FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

Chair John E Taylor called the study session to order at 8:30 a.m. All present.

Jack Barnhart with Over The Road Gang presented an award and thanked Board for support.

Alan Radcliffe discussed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Northeast Kansas Regional Homeland Security Council for the acceptance of Homeland Security Grant Equipment.  This is to use the system for the next five years the cost is $5.  There is not equipment involved since it is web based.

Keith Clark discussed the Kansas Department of Corrections FY2009 Year End Outcome Report for the Fourth Judicial District Community Corrections. The objectives are unique to each judicial district and vary throughout the State of Kansas.  Keith reported all but two objectives were met.

Lisa Johnson discussed that the County is eligible to issue $1,558,000 in Recovery Zone Economic Development Bonds through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.

With no further discussion the study session was adjourned at 8:55 a.m.
