BOARD OF FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

Chair John E Taylor called the study session to order at 8:30 a.m. All present.

Lisa Johnson discussed Pandemic Funding 2009-2010, a contract with the Kansas Department of Health & Environment for H1N1 Pandemic and a new staff position for a two year period for the pandemic requirements.

Jim Haag discussed proposals for the construction observation on the Montana Rd. Project No. 30 KA-0841-01.  The proposals will be sent to seven firms.

Jim Haag discussed adopting a resolution for the K-68 Corridor Management Plan.  Larry Walrod discussed planning and zoning changes that will need to be done after the plan is adopted.

Jim Haag discussed K-68 Corridor Interlocal Cooperation Agreement between the Kansas Department of Transportation, Miami County, Franklin County, City of Louisburg, City of Paola and the City of Ottawa.

With no further discussion the study session was adjourned at 8:45 a.m.
