BOARD OF FRANKLIN COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

Chair David J Hood called the study session to order at 8:30 a.m.  Commissioner Farrell absent.

Midge Ransom discussed fee schedule for the Health Department.  They have the capability to bill the insurance now which helps the clients.  The new fee schedule is adjusted to include additional services and to reflect a minor increase in costs.

Rick Sawin discussed annual free dump day at the transfer station.  The cities will be allowed to dump on Thursday April 15 thru April 20 a week before the public one which will be April 23 & 24, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Rick Sawin discussed solicitation of bids for backhoe with trade in and without trade for the Transfer Station. 

Lisa Johnson and Darrell Wadkins discussed the mold around the windows in the jail.  Jerry Thompson of Loyd Builders inspected and said there is nothing stopping the moisture.  He suggested washing with pressure washer and treating with Weather Seal Siloxane WB.

Lisa Johnson discussed proposed schedule for the 2011 budget process.  They will know more after final audit.

With no further discussion the study session was adjourned at 9:20 a.m.
