RESOLUTION NO. 05-39
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF
FRANKLIN COUNTY, KANSAS
THAT Pursuant to Franklin County Resolution 04-115, Franklin County Resolution 93-37A and K.S.A. 79-210, the Board, after examining evidence presented by the Franklin County Clerk, hereby finds that Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., at its Distribution Center located in rural Franklin County, Kansas, continues to meet the projections set forth in the original schedule accompanying the taxpayer’s request for an exemption from ad valorem taxes, pursuant to the provisions of Article 11, Section 13, of the Kansas State Constitution, and approved by the Board of County Commissioners by County Resolution 93-37A.
FUTHER, the Board recommends that Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., continue to receive an exemption from ad valorem taxes at its Franklin County Distribution Center for tax year 2005.
This Resolution shall become effective upon its adoption by the Board of County Commissioners and subsequent publication in the official county newspaper.
Passed and adopted in regular session, at its chambers in Ottawa, Franklin County, Kansas, this 18th day of April, 2005.
