FRANKLIN COUNTY, KANSAS
A RESOLUTION TO UPGRADE A PORTION OF NEBRASKA ROAD TO FULL MAINTENANCE
WHEREAS, the Franklin County Commission received a request to upgrade Nebraska Road, currently a minimum maintenance road between a 1,000 feet north of Pawnee Road and Sand Creek Road, and
WHEREAS, the Kansas Department of Transportation intends to construct a frontage road upgrading the northerly portion of Nebraska Road , and
WHEREAS, a small portion of minimum maintenance road between two portions of full maintenance is undesirable, and
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED
BY
THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF FRANKLIN COUNTY
That the Franklin County Public Works Department is hereby authorized to upgrade Nebraska Road between a 1,000 feet north of Pawnee Road and Sand Creek Road, said portion of road located between Sections 19 and 20, Township 16 South, Range 20 East, Franklin County, Kansas.
This Resolution shall be in full force and effect following its passage by the Board of County Commissioners and its subsequent publication in the official county newspaper.
WHEREUPON, the Board of County Commissioners of Franklin County, Kansas, passes and adopts this Resolution in regular session, at its chambers in Ottawa, Franklin County, Kansas, this 22nd day of August, 2007.
