RESOLUTION NO. 07-073

A RESOLUTION PROHIBITING PARKING IN THE 3200 BLOCK OF NEVADA TERRACE

                        WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Franklin County, Kansas, and the Wal-Mart Distribution Center have invested in the paving of the 3200 Block of Nevada Terrace; and

            WHEREAS, the paving included rock shoulders which will be damaged by allowing parking; and

            IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF FRANKLIN COUNTY, KANSAS, that the parking be prohibited in the 3200 block of Nevada Terrace and the Public Works Department is authorized and directed to install the correct signage and the Sheriff is requested to enforce the ban on parking. Violation of this resolution shall be punishable by a fine of $50.00.

            Passed and adopted in regular session, this 28^th day of November, 2007.
