RESOLUTION NO. 08-022

A RESOLUTION TO UPGRADE A PORTION OF GEORGIA ROAD TO FULL MAINTENANCE

            WHEREAS, the Franklin County Commission received a request to upgrade Georgia Road, currently a minimum maintenance road from Douglas Road north ¼ mile between Sec. 26 and 27, Twp. 18S, Rng. 18E,  and

                WHEREAS, the property owner has paid the required cost to upgrade this portion of Georgia Road, and

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED

BY

THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF FRANKLIN COUNTY

                That the Franklin County Public Works Department is hereby authorized to upgrade Georgia Road from Douglas Road north ¼ mile and that portion be declared a full maintenance road, Franklin County, Kansas.

This Resolution shall be in full force and effect following its passage by the Board of County Commissioners and its subsequent publication in the official county newspaper.

                WHEREUPON, the Board of County Commissioners of Franklin County, Kansas, passes and adopts this Resolution in regular session, at its chambers in Ottawa, Franklin County, Kansas, this 4^th day of June, 2008.
