RESOLUTION NO. 08-025

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF FRANKLIN COUNTY; KANSAS

THAT Pursuant to Franklin County Resolution 04-115 and K.S.A. 79-210, the Board, after examining evidence presented by the Franklin County Clerk, hereby finds that Wal-Mart Stores East, Inc., for a cross-dock at its Distribution Center located in rural Franklin County, Kansas, continues to meet the projections set forth in the original schedule accompanying the taxpayer’s request for an exemption from ad Valorem taxes, pursuant to the provisions of Article 11, Section 13, of the Kansas State Constitution, and approved by the Board of County Commissioners by County Resolution 01-056.

FUTHER, the Board recommends that Wal-Mart Stores East, Inc continue to receive an exemption from ad Valorem taxes at its Franklin County Distribution Center for tax year 2007 and 2008.

This Resolution shall become effective upon its adoption by the Board of County Commissioners.

Passed and adopted in regular session, at its chambers in Ottawa, Franklin County, Kansas, this 11^th day of June, 2008.
