RESOLUTION NO. 08-027
A RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION #03-82 AND APPROVING THE ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A FEE SCHEDULE FOR PLANNING AND ZONING SERVICES.
WHEREAS, Franklin County Kansas is a Municipal County Government, which has adopted Zoning and Subdivision Regulations for the unincorporated area of Franklin County pursuant to K.S.A. 12-741 et seq.; and
WHEREAS, said County has previously adopted fees to be paid by those utilizing planning and zoning services with the fees required to cover a portion of the cost of administering said regulations as provided by K.S.A. 12-752(d) and K.S.A. 12-757(a); and
WHEREAS, Staff has reviewed the current fee schedule as directed by the Board of County Commissioners and has recommended a new fee schedule as shown in “Exhibit A” which better reflects the actual costs of administering said regulations; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has considered the recommendation to adjust the fee schedule for Planning and Zoning services and finds the amended fee schedule to be in the public interest;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Franklin County Board of County Commissioners does hereby adopt said Fee Schedule for Planning and Zoning services as shown in “Exhibit A” attached.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Franklin County Board of County Commissioners this 25th day of June 2008. This action shall become effective upon publication in the official county newspaper.
