RESOLUTION NO. 08-029      

A RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION #05-15 AND APPROVING THE ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A FEE SCHEDULE CONCERNING THE COST OF INSPECTIONS AND LICENSING ASSOCIATED WITH THE FRANKLIN COUNTY ENVIRONMENTAL SANITATION CODE FOR ON-SITE SANITATION AND WATER FACILITIES.

            WHEREAS, Franklin County Kansas is a Municipal County Government, which has adopted a Sanitation Code for the unincorporated area of Franklin County pursuant to K.S.A. 19-3701 et seq and K.A.R. 28-5-6 to 9; and

            WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Franklin County Kansas have caused a Fee Schedule to administer the licensing and inspections identified in said Code as provided by K.S.A. 19-3702 as follows:

Re-inspection Fee                                                                                                                                  $  60.00

Permit Transfer Fee                                                                                                                              $  25.00

Homeowner (Do-it-yourself) Fee                                                                                                           $  50.00

Water Well Permit Fee                                                                                                                          $  80.00

                                    *The license shall cover a period of one year, from January 1 to December 31.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Franklin County Board of County Commissioners does hereby adopt said Fee Schedule for administering the Franklin County Environmental Sanitation Code.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Franklin County Board of County Commissioners this 25^th day of June 2008.  This action shall become effective upon publication in the official county newspaper.
