About the Health Department... The Franklin County Health Department offers a variety of services to all Franklin County residents on a daily walk-in basis. The health department offers preventative services and provides limited illness care for those who do not have doctor and have no insurance. The local Nurse Practitioner is only available certain Wednesdays, call the health department for more information. The Franklin County Health Department is dedicated to maintaining privacy and confidentiality of all patients health information. Interpreters are available upon prearranged visits.
