The Franklin County Health Department works with local partners to ensure that local public health capacities are in place to address large-scale disease outbreaks, illness, or bioterrorism events in Franklin County. Preparedness and response enhances communication between public health and response partners. It increases the capacity to conduct epidemiological and surveillance activities. Much planning and risk assessments are involved including exercising the public health emergency response plan. |
