BOARD OF PUBLIC BUILDING COMMISSION

Chair called the meeting to order at 2:00 p.m.

Roll Call: John E Taylor present, Donald R Stottlemire present, Steven W Harris present, David J Hood absent, and Colton M Waymire present.

Donald R Stottlemire moved and Colton M Waymire seconded to approve the minutes of April 6, 2011.  All voted “yes” except John E Taylor abstained.

Dotty Riley with Kutak Rock discussed resolution authorizing the Public Building Commission to issue lease revenue bonds, Series 2011 in the amount of $3,600,000 for the purpose of paying the cost of a Juvenile Detention Center.

Tom Kaleko with Springsted discussed bond rating for the County and bids received for bonds as follows:

Stifel-Nicolaus Co                               3.85

Robert W Baird & Co           4.49

Country Club Bank                              3.91

Donald R Stottlemire moved and Colton M Waymire seconded to approve Resolution No 11-01 Authorizing the Franklin County Public Building Commission to issue its Lease Revenue Bonds, Series 2011, in the aggregate principal amount of $3,600,000 for the purpose of paying the cost of a Juvenile Detention Center and related improvements and authorizing and approving certain documents and other actions in connection with the issuance of said bonds. All voted “yes”.

Steven W Harris moved and Colton M Waymire seconded to adjourn at 2:18 p.m.  All voted “yes”.
