This project is located on Osborne Terrace just west of Eisenhower Terrace near Ottawa.
Funding:
Funding for this project comes from the KDOT Local Off-System Bridge Replacement Program ($1,000,000) and FEMA reimbursement funds from the 2019 flood disaster.

Construction has been underway for just over a month
10/17/23
The contractor is currently working on the falsework in preparation of pouring the concrete bridge deck in approximately 6 weeks. The contractor remains on schedule to complete the project in late January as long as the weather is cooperative.
12/2023
The bridge deck was successfully poured on December 13, 2023. Work continues on the project with an expected completion in late January.
1/3/2024
The contractor is waiting on optimal weather to allow them to pour the concrete railings. While they wait, they are beginning to backfill the abutments and remove the temporary drive among other cleanup items. The project is on time.
3/14/2024
The final walk-through took place on March 13, 2024, marking the official completion of the Osborne Terrace Bridge. All involved parties are pleased with the outcome of this project.
