The Franklin County Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing during their regularly scheduled meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 20, 2023 in the Franklin County Commission Chambers to consider the following:
- Application to rezone approximately 10.00 acres from the A-1, Agriculture Zone to the R-E, Residential Estate Zone
- Application to rezone approximately 1.00 acre from the I-1, Light Industrial Zone to the R-E, Residential Estate Zone
- Application for a Special Use Permit for a dog grooming facility in an R-E, Residential Estate Zoning District
- Amending the Franklin County Zoning Regulations to add an addendum granting a temporary moratorium on the planning, establishment, construction, application for or permitting of any Special Use Permits for Commercial Wind Energy Conversion Systems in the unincorporated areas of Franklin County, Kansas until December 31, 2026
